Music therapists train at bachelor and master level and complete supervised clinical internships with music therapy. This course is aimed at students interested in music as a therapeutic tool for treating mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and depression.
We offer individual music therapy counselling services for patients and families to assess and evaluate them according to hospice guidelines and procedures. When referring patients to an interdisciplinary care plan, we develop an individual music therapy plan after completing a music therapy evaluation. Music therapy for very young children is encouraged to cope with their hospital experience. Siblings and family members are encouraged to sing, play an instrument and actively participate in the music therapy process.
